GRUPO LATIN VIBE
(website:  http://www.grupolatinvibe.com)
Grupo Latin Vibe was born out of a composition and arranging class at The Harbor Conservatory in East Harlem, NY.

Two eager musicians from distinct backgrounds, myself an Italian-Greek American kid from Madison, Wisconsin with dreams of being the next Tito Puente or Cal Tjader and Tito Rivera a full blood Puertorriqueno and Salsero born and bred in Brooklyn.

This shared collaboration has continued since 1996 and over the years Grupo Latin Vibe has made 3 full length CDs of which has produced several international hits with La Llave being the biggest. References to The Joe Cuba Sextet and Louie Ramirez have been made. Our belief is that our distinct signature sound of vibes with Tito's unique "NY-Jibaro style" voice produces a unique velvety and swinging salsa tune, and simply put our music is "Salsa-Jazz".

We have seen dancers move with synchronicity of heart and body to our sound and at other times attentively gathering around the bandstand to groove on our Latin Jazz.

REVIEW & PURCHASE MUSIC

SON7 (Son Siete)
(
website:  http://son7.weebly.com/index.html)
This band came together in 2010 with some of the best musicians in the city of Houston. With a simple 8-musician ensemble, Son7 has rocked some of the greatest Latin venues in the city with modern style and immense talent.

Son7’s musicians come from different backgrounds and have been able to combine their musical styles to produce great, modern SALSA. The band has very experienced musicians with a combination of great music and a lot of charisma.

Each Son7 show is unique. The repertoire includes a combination of classic and modern Salsa with old school tunes such as El Gran Combo’s ‘Fiesta de Pilito’ and modern songs such as Marc Anthony’s ‘Valio la Pena’.

TUMBAO CLASICO
Tumbao Clasico is an orchestra that since its beginnings has been providing Salsa specially tailored to the dancer.

Formed earlier this year (2011) the group is composed of professional musicians whose performances have left a mark of prestige and quality. Currently Tumbao Clasico is finishing its first musical production that features several songs that have already been played in a number of clubs and on radio stations in the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Spain.

Tumbao Clasico is led by Ramon Peña and Eduardo Rosario. Having inherited the musical styles of Conjunto Clasico and the legendary Johnny Pacheco (of Tumbao Añejo fame), Mr. Peña and Mr. Rosario already had the background to carry on the musical tradition of their predecessors. The combination of these two groups' names gave rise to the name "Tumbao Clasico".

We hope to give you the best of our music and above all make you enjoy dancing to it. ......"Pero con Tumbao!"

------------------------------------------------------------------------
